Diversity and Inclusion Policy
At Partners for Patients NGO we’re committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. We respect and value all individuals regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, or disability. We strive to recruit, hire, and promote and serve patients based on skills and qualifications while actively seeking out underrepresented groups, both in our internal partnerships and in the external collaborations we do for our patients. We provide ongoing training to all volunteers and employees to increase awareness of unconscious bias and promote inclusive behaviours. We recognise there’s a lot of work to do and we’re committed to making this part of our continuous learning.
As a patient advocacy research NGO, we understand the importance of our role in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workforce and aspire to work with partners who share our values and we support their efforts to build diverse teams that reflect the patient communities we aspire to serve in 193 UN countries.
