Dearest Esteemed Colleagues,
In my capacity as Ambassador at the Pan-African Parliament of the African Union and Senior Advisor on Public Health and Global Health to The Pan African Parliament of the African Union, I’m assembling a small team at Partners For Patients NGO and at the Pan African Parliament to help design a children’s, men’s, and women’s cancer fundraising campaign focused on early detection for 100 million individuals of African ancestry over the next 10 years in 193 countries—and to help pass legislative frameworks that guarantee access in partnership with the 55 Pan African Parliament countries.
Why? Because there are 227 million years of healthy life lost in Africa each year.
Our initiative will be launched on Black Friday and again during the upcoming Jan 21, 2026 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland; UNGA81 2026 in New York City; and G20 2026 NYC gatherings—and at the same time, simultaneously across all 55 African countries, in partnership with the Pan African Parliament of the African Union.
As we approach Black Friday this weekend—an emblematic moment highlighting the powerful role capitalism and consumerism play in global economies—we must remember that the lives and well-being of people of African ancestry are equally vital to the world’s collective future, and deserve the same urgency, investment, and attention.
If you have interest or experience in python programming, business development, biostatistics, graphic design, social media, creative design, finance, charities, digital communications, fundraising, or strategy, we would love to collaborate with you to help us.
Having been selected by the Nelson Mandela Leadership Institute as one of the top 20 most influential female leaders in the health space to share a solidarity message with G20 leaders attending the G20 summit in Johannesburg this weekend, I feel a profound responsibility to use a safe and trusted platform for meaningful impact.
Recap: I am seeking passionate and honest servant leaders who are willing to volunteer alongside me to begin mobilizing resources and help drive a revolutionary transformation in cancer health-care delivery and cancer health-care systems. Our shared vision is to sustainably create equitable and equal health outcomes in cancer for the 2 billion people of African ancestry—regardless of where they were born, where they live today, or where they may belong tomorrow.
Every minute you donate in time or every dollar you contribute to our mission will quadruple in value, because in the history of global health, we are the only group that has ever embarked upon this work at this scale. What we are doing is remarkably unique—and this is why we need your help.
