Helping Access Clean Water
PROBLEM STATEMENT
More than 800 children under age 5 die every day from diarrhea caused by contaminated water, poor sanitation, and unsafe hygiene. Globally, 844 million people lack access to clean water, which means that more than 1 of every 10 people on the planet are affected by the global water crisis.
AIM
We believe the global water and sanitation crisis can be solved within our lifetimes.
OBJECTIVE
That’s why we’re focused on providing clean water and sanitation to every person in every community we work in, including the most vulnerable populations in the hardest-to-reach places.
SOLUTION
Offering and providing clean water is one aspect of improving sustainable food production in order to reduce poverty and hunger.
