Helping Access Clean Water
Project Founder & Leader: Dr. Mimi Choon-Quinones
- PROBLEM STATEMENT
- More than 800 children under age 5 die every day from diarrhea caused by contaminated water, poor sanitation, and unsafe hygiene. Globally, 844 million people lack access to clean water, which means that more than 1 of every 10 people on the planet are affected by the global water crisis.
- AIM
- We believe the global water and sanitation crisis can be solved within our lifetimes.
- OBJECTIVE
- That’s why we’re focused on providing clean water and sanitation to every person in every community we work in, including the most vulnerable populations in the hardest-to-reach places.
- SOLUTION
- Offering and providing Clean Water is one aspect of improving sustainable food production in order to reduce poverty and hunger.
